Several visitors talked extensively about the tremors in Irving, Texas, bringing the conversation to other weather catastrophes. I enjoyed my teaching experience at the museum. I would do nothing differently from what I had prepared. The really young children loved playing with the mover I had, which was a shiny, yellow sports car. This game provided exactly what I was trying to accomplish, gaining knowledge about earth’s movement. I never thought I could teach a science class when I entered this class this fall semester. I teach other subjects all day and never thought I could teach science. The professor, Dr. Narayan is such a unique teacher that has the ability to give her students the confidence to teach science. She made me understand science is not a lab and a white coat; science is everywhere. I now understand how to relate science to everything and anything. Before taking this class I was afraid of science, period. Now, I am no longer afraid to teach science. I embrace the subject, and am confident I can teach science to my students and they will not find the subject boring. I am taking so much from this class and have been exposed to many ideas and strategies of how to teach
