I think this is very important and a critical step in beginning a sex education reform. Although these programs are school based and won’t be making it through the doors, this does give young adults a chance to choose what they want, whether that be put on birth control or becoming more informed about sex in general. When bringing sex education programs into schools, each state has a different say in what they can/cannot do. This is important because when young individuals are more aware of sex and the joys and consequences behind that big word “sex” then they are less likely to engage in it.
