Arriving at the back of Bus 57 she shook herself like a dog ridding itself of water. Her hand spattered with age spots pulled the worn baseball cap out of her back jean pocket. She released a long deep sigh as she slowly tucked her unruly blond hair into it. Fumbling to find the right key on an overloaded key ring she finally opened the back door and climbed in.

Bus 57, Row 9, Right Side, Window” drove to Georgette’s house to pay her a visit. He was not surprised when he saw it was his supervisor who opened the door. They greeted each other and he showed “Mr. Bus 57, Row 9, Right Side, Window” to Georgette’s room.
There she laid peacefully with the covers tucked in around her. She appeared to be sleeping so he quietly sat in the chair next to her bed contemplating what he would say. It was only a short while before she opened her eyes and look at him.
“How are you feeling?” he inquired.
She sighed and rolled her eyes. “I am really not feeling anything. He looked into her eyes intently for a short time searching as if looking for something lost before she closed them.
“Is there anything I can help you understand?” he ask.
There was silence in the room for what seemed like an eternity. She turned her head and her eyes glistened as she looked into his.
