1. I learned and understood that velocity has to do with speed and direction. If two vehicles are driving at the same speed of 45 km/h, but one is driving north and the other south they have the same speed, but not velocity, because they are traveling in two different directions.
2. I do not understand how a skateboard has greater acceleration than an airplane. It does not make sense for a skateboard to be moving at a faster rate when a plane is consider one of the fastest means of transportation.
3. I do not fully understand the idea of a free falling object, how can there only be gravity effecting the object when there are other factors that can contribute to it.
4. I learned that although we are going at a constant speed we still accelerate in a curved path, because our direction is changing. This effects the velocity, because the speed remains constant, but the direction does not.

Speed connects with many things in life for example running a marathon, your speed can be configured by the total distance you ran to the total time that it took. If a person ran 25 miles in 120 minutes and you divide the 120 minutes by 25 miles then you get the average time of 4.8 minutes that it took to run each
