Nowadays, there are many professions that earn low salaries, event though employees work in poor conditions and make a lot of sacrifices. In other words, artists are not the only ones who should receive government financial support. For instance, teachers and doctors also earn low salaries worldwide. Governments should implement social polices to have a better income distribution instead of only helping artists.
Furthermore, governments must help people who contribute to their communities. Clearly, not all artists create an interesting output that makes sense to their close community. For example, according to recent research carried out, the percentage of artists working for social interest is less than 10%.
