After entering the drive which leads to Southwest Hall, I observed five men walking in an eastward direction on the south side of Southwest Hall. I pulled forward into the roadway that is south of Southwest Hall, the wrong way, positioning myself in front of the five males. I quickly exited the squad car and demanded that they not move and slowly show me their hands. My hand was on my firearm. One man, wearing a long trench coat, had his hands deep in the pockets of the coat. He was wearing several layers and I instructed him to slowly pull his hands out of his pockets and open his coat. He asked why I wanted him to do this and I again demanded of him to slowly remove his hands from his pockets. I pushed the retention bar on my gun holster forward as I demanded this, my hand still on my weapon.
