As a future business owner, international insight would be very critical under the globalized market. During I was studying at UCSD, I communicated with different people with different cultural background. I understood that the difference of their cultural background could affect to their personal decisions; therefore, I learned how to think with others standpoint. During my junior year at UCSD, I have done a group project of introducing a product to the class. I chose an iPhone. Since I have considered the background of my classmates, I brand the product by saying some words which could satisfy to they values. For example, I told the Chinese it is the trend and the icon of success. I tried to make them feel it is a necessary item for shaping a professional and successful images because I knew that Chinese cares about that. Besides, after taking the International and Management classes, I have also learned the relationship between different nations, such as the change of the relationship of UK and EU created a unstable business environment to the investor, or the economic activity or competition between China and the USA. HKUST Business School MBA program would be my next goal, and it would be a strong foundation of my future career. HKUST is located in Hong Kong, which is one of the international finical centers of the world, and where my business will be started at, so I think HKUST would be the best geographic advantage for me. Although I have studied the international business activities and relationship at UCSD, it is necessary to understand the local business activities in Hong Kong. In addition, Hong Kong is a part of China, and China is developing rapidly.
