Stereotype – (social psychology), thoughts or beliefs may or may not accurately reflect reality.
Stereotyping is part of our everyday life, it is a way people group each other. Everybody either old or young is labelled with either positive or negative stereotypes. We are criticized in which music we listen to, how we act and who we hang with, stereotypes have an enormous effect on how we feel. This makes people have no motivation, therefore there isn’t good performance shown in any level of their life.

Many people are stereotyped about their religion. I have a review from a friend she talks about how our generation are judged mainly girls: Fay Holland -The news reports contradict each other. According to some papers, all 16-year-old girls are running around getting pregnant, but the average age of a first time mother is now above 30. And what about our academic successes? They can be explained away by easier exams. I know many teenagers who are amazingly positive people and do amazingly positive things. A whole generation can't be inherently bad. When a person hears the word ‘prejudice’ they think of racial prejudice. Prejudice is not only found in skin colour, but is found in age, religion and cultural backgrounds. It had been a main problem in society today, based on hatred, mainly towards black people, Asians and Jews .In the 1600, it was said that white men used Africans as slaves. The African slaves were of a low status (considered dirt) so they were restricted from using things that the white race used.
I believe we can reduce the amount of prejudice although society has accepted all race, gender and age, other individuals discriminate cause of past history, however I know I can’t change every bodies mind everyone has different beliefs, but if we do all come together, I think if will be possible to prevent at least some people from being racially attacked, directly and
