J. Ridley Stroop was one of the creators that discovered this experiment making a test for the participants. Became one of the most popular and using test for psychology in different ways obtaining a lot of benefits and effects. The Stroop Color experiment were examined in a positive way to the participants tested in a visual task. Participants were assigned a simple task determining the correct answer depending on what color was write on the block and not in the color that word appearance. Hence, this test help to the participants to be exanimated in different ways showing how simple things can affect and facts influence in the result of the Stroop Color to improve the test making the effects more …show more content…
Arab J Sci (2014) explain how stress increase each time more in life of humans. Arab J Sci makes an experiment where he test and measure in a simple way stress in the participant’s in different ways. Hence, through Stroop test the research can tested heart rate and blood pressure. The purpose of the experiment is that participants measure and control their levels of stress avoiding that in the future the will have damages in their health for stress. The experiment consist in two completely different session. The experiment start with 30 minutes of relaxation for the participants identifying the matching natural pictures with relaxing music. Then, participants start with Stroop test which guidance which have two different performance; in performance one was the congruent session, when the block of color and the word are the same. And the congruent session which are when color block and word are different, which is the second performance on the experiment. In additional, the test was divided in two relaxation stages and three stressfully stages which are measured as low, medium and high each one with different end time period. Trough, to participants in this experiment researchers can observe the changing between stress and normal mood obtaining a great significance between this two moods. Having as advantage of the experiment was the classification of stress in the subject independent mode. This …show more content…
Dumay and Gaskell, 2007, 2012; Davis et al., 2008 made three different types of experiments in which they test to the participants with new words that associate with the colors through the native language with the finality to evaluate which conditions are necessary to learn semantic. However Dumay and Gaskell use different number of participants for three experiments, but all participants’ were native speakers of German. Additionally, the conditions of the vision of the participants change in each experiment. In addition, they did ach experiment with test a different purpose. Gaskell designed experiment 1 to examine how participants relation short time ago native word by lexico-semantic memory and how it could be affect learning. Experiment 1 was divided in two sessions. On session one researchers tested 10 words each word was paired with a word color written in German but words appears on black. Then, Stroop Test was more difficult having four subsection of color terms in German translation. After, participants did session 2 with different stimuli (German translation). Research use for the experiment 10 different colors which were red, yellow, green, violet, blue, orange, black, white and brown. The task for the participants was to choose the correct answer pushing one of the four colored buttons that go with ink color or German term that were ask in the screen. Hence,
