The stomach is a very occupied part of the human body, it is very important since it has many very important functions in order to be alive. The stomach is a main topic that is interpreted throughout Roach’s book. The stomach is a really busy organ in the body and does a lot of work. The stomach is the machine where it breaks the food from big chunks rather than the mouth doing that. The stomach is in charge of that because people do not chew the food more than ten times therefore that becomes the stomach’s job. Roach explains the stomach process which she states “By delivering heaps poorly chewed we overtax the gut and pollute the cells’ that is why the people don’t break the food down in the mouth because they do not do the right amount of chewing.
