The colour amber is only found in the KJV book of Ezekiel in the Bible. It is used to demonstrate God’s overbearing presence. “And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.” (Ezekiel 1:27). This colour is used in my advertisement as a background. This shows us that God’s presence is all around us. The colour Black is associated with the negatively aspects of human experiences, including death, disease and sorrow, which are the result of sin. The colour is used in my advertisement to outline everything. Judas’s hair is also this colour, representing his great sin. This shows how everyone and everything is lined with sin. Yet the sin can be overcomed with repentance. The colour Purple is also used throughout the Old Testament as hangings, representing Holy Places. Due to its rarity the colour is now seen as a colour of richness and royalty. The colour is also used to represent wisdom and power. This colour is used in my advertisement as clothes on Jesus, representing his royalty as the son of God. This shows us Jesus’ wisdom, power and divine glory. The colour White represents purity and righteousness. The colour is also used to …show more content…
. The symbol of Chi Rho intersects of the capital Greek letters Chi (Χ) and Rho (Ρ). These are the first two letters of "Christ" in Greek (ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ). This symbol is used in my advertisement on Jesus’ clothes, symbolising Jesus with us during the Eucharist. The symbol of Jesus is shown in my advertisement as Jesus. Jesus is breaking the Bread and is wearing white and purple robes, showing his purity and divine glory. As stated in text 10 “In the most Holy Eucharist, Jesus is truly and substantially present: Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. This presence is described as presence par excellence, because he is truly present under the appearance of Bread and wine. For this reason, we genuflect to the tabernacle where the Blessed Sacrament is received and are encouraged to worship and adore him in Eucharistic Adoration.”(Dominican Sisters of Mary, November, 2013, p. 54-55) This shows how Jesus is always present in the celebration of the Eucharist, and how the Eucharist is essential in everyday life. The Bread being broken by Jesus in my advertisement symbolises the Host in modern day Eucharist. ‘While they were eating, Jesus took a piece of bread, gave a prayer of thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples. “Take and eat it,” he said; “this is my body.”’ (Matthew 26:26) Both the Bread and Host symbolise Jesus body. This shows how Jesus
