This website contains information about the history of Ancient and provides me with a timeline of important events, people and objects that occurred during a specific dynasty or period. It even provides specific information an important people and objects that are found to be important. For example, the Rosetta Stone has a page that you can go to by clicking on “Rosetta Stone” on the timeline. It’s useful because it gives me a timeline to go off of and I can even make this into a form of assessment, in class activity or a web quest.

1. What does Gershmehl mean by the 'geographic perspective'?
He means “why things are located where they are”, “what are the advantages foor things being in appropriate places”, “are there penalties for things being in less suitable places” and “analysis of the locations of things can provide useful insights about causes and other relationships”. It can provide insight into spatial-thinking skills and insights into all kinds of topics.
Geographic perspective starts with the assumption that the locations of things can be important in understanding them. It’s knowing how to relate a fact observed in one place to other characteristics of the place such as terrain, population density, etc then applying that information.
