Biblical Worldview Essay
The book of Romans establishes the basis of the Christian faith. It is a letter written by the apostle Paul and should serve as a blueprint of what we are to believe and how we are to behave. Hindson & Townes (2015) explain how Paul lays out the theme of his letter in two ways. “(1) The gospel is the power of God that leads to salvation, and (2) the righteousness of God by faith is revealed in the gospel” (Ch. 32). By studying the book of Romans one can grow in their knowledge and faith. Romans 1-8 talks about how we should view the natural world, human identity, human relationships, culture, and much more.
The Natural World

The book of Romans 1-8 gives us the basis of what we are to believe and how we are to behave. We are all sinners; however, with repentance and faith we are saved. The book of Romans also tells us that we are all looked upon by God without judgment. We should view one another as if looking in a mirror and understand that we are no better than the man standing beside us. Lastly, no matter how much the culture in which we live in changes, we must not wander astray from rejoicing in our faith as Christians. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16, NIV). It is this very nature that forms our views of the natural world, our human identity, relationships, and the culture. It is by the grace of God that mankind is saved through repentance and
