Other members of the executive include vice president, cabinet members and agencies. The major role of the executive is to implement the laws passed by the Congress. The president is also the head of the state and commander-in-chief. On the other hand, the vice president assists the president in his daily routine work. The vice president is also mandated to act in the absence of the president. On the other hand, cabinet advises the president on matters of running the government. Agencies such as the FBI makes sure that executive directives are followed. The bureaucracy institution plays the role of implementing, administration and regulation. At first, bureaucracy regulates the laws made by the elected leaders, for instance, city council directives concerning pets in the city. Currently, most of the Americans does not know their basic rights. Through participating in the civil education, I would enlighten Americans on several issues that they are facing. At first, I will teach Americans the importance of voting. As years goes by the number of Americans who does not vote is increasing. Most of the Americans do not vote because they do not know the importance of voting. Therefore, I would teach them the importance of voting because it is their constitutional right. The other civil education aspect that I can teach them is the importance of demonstrations. Americans can participate in demonstrations through marches, boycotts and sit-ins. Protesting is importance, for instance, when the rights of Americans are abused, for example, when police shoot blacks, people should demonstrate to oppose racial segregation, which is an issue that the United States has fought for centuries. In addition, I would teach employees the importance of demonstration when their rights are abused, for instance, underpayment, or working under unsafe
