We learned the Carbon Monoxide is a gas that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. It is harmful to the human body because it binds to hemoglobin, which is a protein molecule in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs to the body 's tissues, with it having 210x for affinity to hemoglobin than oxygen. This causes harm to our vital organs. This causes certain signs and symptoms to the human body: Dizziness, nausea, headaches, unconsciousness, and even death.
