Electronic communication is an easier method to record patient 's information. Electronic has improved over the years. Back then everything had to be written down or was sent through letter but now we communicate using emails, social media and we also collect data. For example, the article Emerging Culture Norms for Electronic Communication by John Hielie and John Ford 2001 says "Emails provide an easy way to deal with deal with conflict without the discomfort that arises in a face to face conversation" (2001, paragraph 11). It has also helped many patients send information such as phone numbers, questions, and medical information instead of having to drive a long way to provide the information.
