This law of motion stems off of the idea of force. Simply meaning that when you push off of something, the object that you are pushing off of is going to be pushed back due to the energy it takes to move an object. An example of this is hitting a golf ball with a club. The velocity of the ball is able to change due to the force of a golfer hitting the ball with its club. The more force a golfer uses on a ball, the faster the speed will become. Whereas a slight breeze from the wind would just barely affect how much the ball moves. Newton’s third Law of Motion is especially apparent when it comes to sports (Golfswing.com n.d.). But stepping out of the topic of sports, the understanding of action and reaction has played a major role in the development of aerospace engineering.
