Black migrant According to some articles that I read, I learn more information about migration to United States. From a lot of years ago to the present there is an uncountable number of people that immigrant to the United States. People came to the United States for a lot of reasons referring to the lifestyle. People came to United States because there are better opportunities of life, better future and is the country where if you work hard you will receive a reward. From a lot of countries people immigrant to United States but the only that I want to talk about is African people. G. Iweriebor “The Colonization of Africa” (2). States that, between the 1870s and 1900, Africa faced European imperialist aggression, diplomatic pressures, military invasions, and eventual conquest and colonization. European Government Attacked African people to win the battle and stay in Africa. At the same time, African societies put up various forms of resistance against the attempt to colonize their countries and impose foreign domination. African people had resistance to European Government but African power was less that the opponent provoking the loss of land, and cities. By the early twentieth century, however, much of Africa, except Ethiopia and Liberia, had been colonized by European powers. The European imperialist push into Africa was motivated by three main factors, economic, political, and social. It developed in the nineteenth century following the collapse of the profitability of the slave trade, its abolition and suppression, as well as the expansion of the European Capitalist Industrial Revolution. This war has been during for years provoking death of innocent people, women and kids. The European imperialist designs and pressures of the late nineteenth century provoked African political and diplomatic responses and eventually military resistance. States that civil right movement was a right which African people won a large battle about discrimination, racism, and slavery. The African-American Civil Rights Movement (1865–1896) refers to the post-Civil War reform movements in the United States aimed at eliminating racial discrimination against African Americans, improving educational and employment opportunities, and establishing electoral power. This law helped African people to stay in peace in the United States without problems and laws where they have to work more for a bad salary. This period between 1865 and 1895 saw tremendous change in the fortunes of the black community following the elimination of slavery in the South. The year 1865 held two important events in the history of African Americans. The Thirteenth Amendment, which eliminated slavery, this law helped to African people because this law they were not used as slaves and there were not opposed to work all the day and the week for a bad salary. The other law was Union troops arrived in June in Texas to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation, giving birth to the modern Juneteenth celebrations. Freedmen looked to start new lives as the country recovered from the devastation of the Civil War. Thanks to Martin Luther King Jr. African people has better life in the United States. This is an important day to the United States that we celebrated January 15, each January
