The connection amongst society has declined because people cease to use the abilities of social skills. Consequently, losing the traits of social capabilities causes humans to suffer the inability to physically communicate and logically think. Additionally, human’s obsession with social technology has damaged the communication process causing technology to deteriorate people’s social capabilities. Because the obsession with social technology has obstructed society’s social capabilities, humans have lost their means of communicating and connecting amongst each other. ?Does this make sense to my topic and thesis statement? And does it seem repetitive? Moreover, Carr has stated the obsessive usage of social technology has been, “chipping away my capacity for concentration and contemplations” (426). Carr’s obsession with social technology “chips” away at his ability to concentrate or think. Subsequently, by losing his skills to concentrate, Carr’s social capabilities deteriorate. Therefore, losing social skills causes humanity’s growth to lose the ability to connect logically amongst the peers within society. Above all, the obsession with social technology causes humanity to lose the ability to think or concentrate because humans place the mere values social technology induces over the understanding of logic. By being absorbed with social technology, humans forget the realities of their essential life and the obsession ominously disrupts human’s thinking and concentration. Furthermore, this mainly occurs with people where technology sufficiently rules the household and these people are significant because they are the common example of what a household looks like when the majority of the family members are obsessed with social technology. ?Can you help me fix this. Its suppose to explain in one sentence where are the people and why they are significant? According to Richard Foreman, “we risk turning into ‘pancake people’- spread wide and thin as we connect with that vast network of information accessed by the mere touch of a button” (qtd. in Is Google Making us Stupid). Foreman states by communicating and processing knowledge through social technology, humans have lost their social capabilities.
