Other people expressed how being gay is accepted in their town. Yet there are individuals that claim gays will burn in hell and their lifestyle is deviant. Combining these, memories create an image of what the residents sensed regarding the attack. The acting troupe uses recitation and re-enactments to explain the individuals, allowing the reader insight to what existence is like there. The method also provides a vivid image of the person interviewed. One night at the Fireside Bar, Matthew left for unknown reasons with two other male patrons. Later on in the shadows of that evening, Matt was robbed. Stood upright, and trussed to a split rail cattle fence on the fringes of town.
