Qualitative research makes it easy for a researcher to gain a clear understanding of the target markets. For the reason that the types of questions asked during the process start with “Why”. However, Qualitative research is sometimes not accepted and understood, especially within certain scientific communities. A pro with quantitative research is that it can also be anonymous, which is useful when dealing with sensitive topics. Not everyone likes to give full consent to research. One con of quantitative research is the limited ability to probe answers. Surely being able to trust the people your research is important. Also, people who are willing to respond may share characteristics that don 't apply to the research, creating a somewhat bias in the work. We can see in our society that people don’t agree with objectivity. People can argue that objectivity can be used more to distort the truth on things rather than trying to help discover the truth. There must be some underlying truth to the claims that have been made for it to spark such an emotional response. I also feel that a lot of people are understanding what objectivity has to bring to the table. It can help with better understand children and development. For example, if the child is observed for behavioral modification purposes, establishing an objective baseline can determine the levels of future improvement and success. Observation of anything, children or otherwise, needs to be done objectively to ensure accurate conclusions. To maintain objectivity, it is important to record only what you have seen and/or heard. Objectivity has fixed set of best practices and processes that might appear as different to some. Overall, I would recommend Objectivity to anyone looking for challenges of building mission-critical solutions in the big data and fast data
