Seismic Imaging is a tool/technique to find the availability of crude oils and natural gas underground. It is also known as reflection Seismology as it is a process of inspection geophysics to evaluate the properties of Earth’s subsurface by using the principles of seismology from the reflected seismic waves. Sound waves are recorded by Seismologists using an ultrasensitive device called geophone as they echo under the earth surface. The Seismic Imaging technology is being used by Energy Companies for about 80 years. It creates high-definition pictures as in an X-ray scan or a medical sonogram.

Pros and Cons of moving enterprise-wide applications to the Cloud
Cloud Technology
Cloud is nothing but internet. Cloud computing is the delivery of all the on-demand computing services over the internet on a pay as you go basis.
Benefits of Cloud:
The setup cost is less or zero: Cloud is based on Software as a Service (SAAS). Set up cost is low or nearly zero as we don’t have to setup heavy hardware machinery or develop any software to use cloud solutions. (Milliron, 2015)
Pay as you go model: Cloud technologies are billed monthly, so we may use it as per our need. If the user needs cloud technology is needed for 6 months, the user may pay for the 6 months and can subscribe later and so the does not have to pay from the seventh month. (Milliron, 2015)
No Downtime: All the systems are auto updated by the cloud technology providers. So, all the software systems are auto-updated with very little or no downtime. (Milliron, 2015)
Work from anywhere: A computer and a high-speed internet are enough for a user to start working with Cloud technologies. Users can work on the go from home, office, hotel or in the air if we have a high-speed internet. (Wasserman, 2011)
Faster: Cloud computing not only lower the costs, it will make it enormously faster. (Milliron, …show more content…
Single Sign-On Systems
Single sign-on applications use one login user and password to access different applications. From the User’s point, the importance of single sign-on is its usability. Users no longer have to struggle with the remembrance of different passwords. There is also another use, productivity. If other apps are easier to access, users will save time and available tech tools will be used more effectively. Single sign-on reduces costs. SSO helps with user management as it can create, delete or edit accounts across multiple systems. (Avatier, 2017)
