I, Personally, Prefer Micky to Edward as he has had to go threw so much more than him and has had to grow up and mature many years before Edward did as he hadn't a job and a kid on the way with his childhood crush, Linda.
At the Beginning of the play, the two main characters first meet at age seven, outside playing in Micky's Garden. Micky says to Edward "Hello" which Edward (Eddie) Responds "I've seen you before, Up in the park!" The Job turned out to be an Armed robbery which ended up in a shop attendant dying and Micky being sent to prison, while this was happenning Edward was back in college again and by the time Mickys' Sentance was up He'd Became a Very Well-off counciller which was in contrast to Mickys' Situation
Micky was addicted to anti-depressant pills which were prescribed to him during his Jail Sentance of Seven Years, Linda tries Reluctantly to get him off them and he does try although fails.
