Athenians are the ones who were credited with the creation of democracy. Political liberty entails the right to elect a candidate, the right to position as a nominee for election, the right to maintain public offices, and freedom of speech, press, religion, and assembly. These principles are constructed on the guideline of equality. Inequality has been the source of all the uprisings, which have transformed the aspect of the world. Common government resting on the determination of the people and on the belief of equality, are invulnerable from all radical conflicts. Furthermore, this form of government also infers the risk of an alternate government in place of an ineffective one. These characteristics ensure the stability of the democratic form of government. In a democratic society, purpose manages the conduct of men and each person is responsible for his or her actions. In this country, every individual donates some thought or emotion to the mutual life. Therefore, democracy is not only a system of government, but also a method of existence.
