The wildness of some current contemporary art is all in the spirit of its movement. This is fueled by the need for experimentation. The current climate of our surrounding culture is hard to pinpoint; although in all honestly it maybe be hard to classify a movement while still in the midst of one. The once rigid and strict field that took a lifetime to master evolved to believe that technical craft and ability aren’t nearly as important as finding something to say even if it is unclear. The work must now be require further explanation to be considered true art. Otherwise it is to obvious and if it is to obvious it is than it isn’t sophisticated and therefore it will not be impact.
