The Samurai’s have an important role in Japan. The Samurai’s appeared in the early eighth century. They are known for serving the Feudal lords known as the Daimyo. The Samurai’s had 2 swords. They are called “Katana and Wakizashi” they were the sword that the Samurais used.
The definition of the word Samurai is “ To be on one’s guard.” The role of the Samurai in a Feudal Japan Social Pyramid is under the Daimyo’s. In Japanese they are referred as the Bushi. In 1185 Japan began to be governed by the Samurai Warrior’s. In 1868 the Samurai began to disappear or die out.
The Samurai’s believed in Bushido and Buddhism. They also believed in Hari Kari which is belly cutting. They also had a rule if they cut a head
