Anne was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank. Anne was a very loving and passionate person. Anne was pretty well in hiding, but after a while she wasn’t doing well. She felt smothered in hiding, while in the concentration camp she just did anything in her power to try and keep Margot alive. Mr. Frank gave Anne a diary to write in whenever she wanted about anything she wanted to, usually about the state of the Secret Annex and what is happening outside concerning the Nazi army. Anne was somewhat loud, but didn’t seem to express that until her family, the Van Pels and Dussel went into hiding. Miep, along with 3 other helpers, brought food for the members of the Secret Annex. She also helped everyone be more comfortable and happy while they were in hiding. Miep cared for everybody in the Secret Annex and she risked everything for them to be content and well. All of the helpers risked their lives and ,other things in their personal lives, to help the Secret Annex. She was extremely selfless and she helped them even when she knew it would be “terribly difficult”. However, Miep didn’t do these extra things because they were necessary, she did them because she cared for everyone
