Life does not always turn out the way we want it to be. The reason as to why hope is being portrayed as a curse is because we strongly believe events will happen without realizing the odds of it’s potential occurrence. Although we make our own decisions, we have no control of what will occur next. In the Greek myth “Pandora”, Pandora hopes that the box in Epimetheus home will grant satisfactory to our own self. Having said that people today tend to have unrealistic hopes and desires that leads to different consequences they did not hope for. For instance in the myth “Pandora”, the author states her feelings . “As for poor little Pandora, she flung herself upon the floor and rested her head on the fatal box.
