This is so that the tracks could progress into the style we wanted with the use of compression, reverbs and certain colouring effects. Most of the tracks in the final mix session were processed in some way. During this session, compression was applied to both the Kick Drum microphones, Drum Overheads, Floor Tom, both Rhythm Guitar microphones, Saxophones and the Lead Vocal. The Klark Teknik SQ1 were used for everything with the exception of the Lead Vocal which was the Focusrite Compounder Class A.
