The Stomach and Members
This particular fable is really outstanding, because it has been interpreted in varying political contexts over the centuries.
From my understanding of the plot I see that it concerns a dispute between the stomach and the hands and feet. Obviously, the stomach gets all of the food refusing to supply the rest of the body with the energy. Apparently, it is the reason of the conflict in which the other members of the body see sense when they realize that they are weakening themselves. The rest of the body becomes so weakened that it dies. That also leads to the death of the stomach because the whole body is one organism and should work this way because separately none of the parts can survive.
The
