The main three grand philosophies that are associated with the theories of Social Work are; structuralism, modernism and post-conventionalism. These grand theories are not just used for Social Work, many other professions practice them too. These philosophies are used all around us in today’s day and age, people can see a product of this from a photo, song, website, building, or from pieces of art. The theory of Post-Conventionalism is all about knowing that there are many answers to a certain question not just one because it is impossible.
