Creativity involves use of everyday capacities such as the association of ideas, memory, perception, analogical thinking and reflecting self-criticism. It involves not only a cognitive dimension (the generation of new ideas) but also motivation and emotion, and is closely linked to cultural context and personality factors.

Procedure:
The subject is seated comfortably and the following subject details are recorded: Name (Initials), Age, Sex and Education. The subject is then given the Creativity Test. Instructions are given separately for each subtest. The subject has to answer with a time limit of three minutes for each subtest. The experimenter collects the response sheet after administering the test and analyses the responses in terms of number and uniqueness.
Instructions:
“This is a test to assess your thinking ability and your association skills. In each sub test there are a set of question under the heading of instances, alternate uses, similarities, pattern meaning and line meaning. You need to answer spontaneously to each question and give as many as responses possible to each test item.”
Instances:
“In this task you will be given some items, your task is to think about the questions all kinds of answers that are possible, write as many as you can. You will be given three minutes for this sub tests. There are four items under this subtest.”
