World War 1 was one of the bloodiest wars in history that was fought between big powers in Europe. Although Archduke Franz Ferdinand's assassination in Bosnia by a Serbian is what sparked WW1, there was 3 main causes of this war. The 3 main causes of WW1 was Alliance Systems, Imperialism, and Militarism. Alliance Systems were a major part of the cause of World War 1. This was a big effect of the war, because the alliances were stretched out across different countries. One of the main alliances were the Triple Entant, which included Russia, France, and Great Britain. The Other main alliance was the Triple Alliance, which had Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy in it.
