Enrolling in this course has allowed me to first study the history of our healthcare system comparing it with our current trends. This has developed my awareness on healthcare complexity allowing me to adopt different strategies where necessary to address issues. This learned strategy will then create competitive advantage and bring long term value to the healthcare organization. A barrier in the line of communication between the patients, being the customer, the physician in most cases does not have emotional intelligence when it comes to being affectionate. Hospital staff not rendering good customer service such times prolonged waiting period during check, in emergency room. This is a major prove in system failure which it does simultaneously affect the measure of quality care given to patient. Poor administrative practice in the area of appointment reminder follow up, follow up call to measure patient feedback after care was given. Today we are face with the institution not being able to comply with the affordable health care act (AHCA) passed during President Obama’s regime. The passed law is now being rolled back by the Trump administration which has created an uncertainty in the AHCA by not fully funding the program. This has also created less confidence in the market place causing some states to drop out due to budget constraint.
