They all purchased food from fast food chains such as McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Auntie Anne’s. They mentioned they went out to those specific restaurants because of convenience. They did not have much time to make a meal at home because of their hectic schedules and needed to find a non-busy place to get a quick meal in. This pattern exists because no one truly has any time anymore to do something they can find for a few dollars somewhere else. Everyone is busy with other priorities such as working at home or after-school activities, which can replace taking the time to cook a meal. Other commitments take over and people go out to the nearest restaurant of their choice, so they don’t waste their time in the cooking process. Everyone had said that the majority of the meals came from fast food chains and restaurants. It was interesting to listen to people talk about their eating habits, because everyone has an input on what they want to eat or are in the mood for. After doing this assignment, I was able to understand the reasoning as to why they had to choose between going out for a meal or staying in for a meal.
