This group has great cooperation and great rapport. They knew exactly what the mission was. We didn’t identify an issue but do feel as if they should have conducted more research prior to the meeting. They allowed everyone to speak and explain their conclusion and they all agreed on a reasonable financial plan that assured the playground would be safe, functional, and fun. The leader made sure everyone stayed on task and also made sure have everyone recognize what was the best way to achieve the goal.

The issue in this meeting to begin with is that the mission and/or goal were not clear to the individuals in the group. Each person did not participate fully in the meeting and weren’t completely open to actually listening to other group member’s perspective. The group leader could have done a better job controlling the meeting and stopping confrontation within the group itself. The group couldn’t cooperate and they didn’t have great communication at all. They didn’t accomplish what they were supposed to in the meeting. They didn’t seem comfortable with each other at all.

The group leader tried to keep everyone on task and make sure that each group member focused on what needed to be done. The woman who didn’t speak as much in the group did try to tell the group members that they could converse in the meeting in a calm manner and that the meeting seemed to get really confrontational.

The young teacher was more worried about his agenda of his new class being pushed than the actual goal of the meeting. He got adhered to just talking about that class. The more accomplished lady just wanted to concentrate on her numbers and wanted everybody to go by what she felt was right. Individuals were getting very aggressive and confrontational because they had ideas that they thought should be looked into. People were more worried on what they wanted to the group to do instead of actually deciding and agreeing on what was best for the group. Group members were not letting each other state their opinions of what they thought were best. Group members wanted to run the meeting and group when in actuality they should’ve been trying to figure out what was best for the group and actually agree on
