In order to win the war a ‘special relationship’ was formed between Prime Minister Churchill of Great Britain and President Roosevelt of the United States of America. Sir Winston Churchill knew that the support of the United States was critical in order for them to win the war as the US was seen as a powerhouse with their warfare. Sir Winston Churchill was very effective at making and keeping relationships in order to use them to his advantage to support and take control of the war. In doing this Sir Winston Churchill allied himself with Marshal Josef Stalin who was the leader of the soviet union and military during WW2.
