Scientific Revolution
Scientific Revolution is was or is a concept used by historians to describe the emergency of modern period. The scientific revolution took place toward the end of the Renaissance. But, it continued through the late 18th century. The term ‘ Scientific Revolution ‘ mainly refers to historical changes and belief. It began with nicolaus copernicus who may i add asserted heliocentric cosmos. Then, of course it ended with Isaac Newton. He proposed universal laws and a mechanical universe.
The scientific Revolution was a huge thing historically. It changed the way people looked at mankind and nature. Nicolaus came up with many calculations that opened his eyes to his position in the universe as well as other people. His theory differed from other people’s …show more content…
To do so he created his own telescope. It took him years to perfect his skill and when he did it worked perfectly. He observed the move and found out it was smooth as many thought it was actually bumpy and had craters. He also examined other planets. While doing this he examined more than he bargained for. Being that Copernicus already made the theory about the planets revolving around the sun, the telescope Galileo made it helped back up his theory way more. The people of the church strongly believed the geocentric universe and even after the other people of the science world tried to expose the universe for being a heliocentric world the church still wasn't agreeing with anything. But, Galileo had his own plan. He was trying his best to make people understand the universe. He published many papers of data and observations everyone needed to see. Just so they would examine the solar system for what it really was. Slowly but surely people started to believe everything that was being said and the church started to lose
