Because they simply believe that they’re full of chemicals which are bad for our health and that the body should naturally be given the chance to have its immune system activated without the help of external factors. Also, some people believe that vaccines given to young children can cause Autism, Ear infections, Asthma and ADHD. They also believe that vaccinated children are more likely to develop chronic diseases than those who are not vaccinated. Actually vaccinations are very important, because of immunization; some diseases that were a cause of millions of deaths a long time ago are now close to being extinct. In the 1950s Poliomyelitis was affecting over 35000 people each year, and now because of its vaccinations; Polio has been eliminated in the US for almost 30 years. Also, Small pox has been eradicated by immunization and saving almost 5 million lives per year. One of the good things about immunization is that is saves a lot of money and effort; it basically prevents a lot of diseases, so that people don’t have to waste their money on medications for an illness that can be easily prevented by a vaccine.
