Things are very different from when a man and a woman is getting to know each other to married couples living together. When people meet and go out on dates, the man is the one who will most likely pay, women will just sit back and enjoy. The fact of a man paying all the time should change after a certain time. A man will eventually get tired of wasting his money; different thoughts may come up to his mind. For example, he may start to think if she’s a gold digger or not, or what are her interests in him. When it comes to married couples they should have an equally financial aspect. Couples are equal in other things as well as taking care of their family, so why shouldn’t they be equal when it comes to money? There are a lot of single women, married women and mothers who are working more often. In “the cost of being female in the workplace” the authors Headlee, Sue and Elfin, Margery stated that “Women went to work because they needed money: either they had no husband, an unemployed husband, or a low-wage earner husband” (3) which shows that women are capable of working and helping their partner. If a man isn’t getting paid enough and a woman is getting paid the minimum, then she should be able to give money and help out. It’s not fair for a man to force himself in order to keep a family with a place to stay and food to eat, woman should help there husband
