Honestly I don’t have an issue with bullfighting. I say that now, but if I go to watch it may be a different story. If the people of Spain enjoy it, then why not? I mean, you’re going to kill it sooner or later, so why not get lots of money out of it? Usually after the fight the meat is cut up and given to homeless shelters or families in need. I think it’s completely fine to make money and then donate food to people who need it. Spain obviously has enough bulls to keep doing bullfighting all these years, so what’s it gonna hurt to keep doing it?
I also feel that it is a great thing for the economy in Spain. People pay money to go watch the bullfights. The money then goes to help in the economy, and soon comes back around as some people’s paychecks. Even though an animal is most likely getting killed at the end of a fight, it isn’t much different than an all-human sport. Many americans love to watch football, where lots of people get injured on the field. Every country has their own sport or tradition, so just because a bull is dying in Spain, doesn’t mean it should be illegal unless we’re going to stop most
