Unlike in the Middle Ages, Catholics these days are somehow different from the Catholics in the Middle Ages. For example, a Catholic in the Middle Ages obey every rules of the church while most Catholic in the modern days are being ignorant to the rules and sometimes being rude and gives no respect to the church. The role of women in the society also change compare to the Middle Ages and in the Modern Society. Not only during the Middle Ages but also from the different era that it corresponds, the role of women is only to be a “housewife”. This means that women’s role in the society is to support their husband and their children. They are not capable of performing work and women receive less respect compare to men. They are very inferior to men that time that they don’t have the right to be involved in the politics. The society treat women as the weaker gender compare to men. But compare to the modern day, women have multiple roles in the society not only limited to being “housewife”. Women these days are allowed to do things that only men can do back then. Different movements in the society today such as the Gender Equality aims to break the stereotype between men and women. The society today believe in the equal potential from both
