I felt that I was not going to be able to enjoy the book without feeling some emotion. After I completed reading this narrative my whole outlook on the book changed. My response was that I was intrigued that the book was written in comic book style; also, the pictures was graphic, but it caught my attention and I wanted to read more. Also, I caught interest by the way Spiegelman replaced humans with animals, though it was different but yet the animals were terribly human by the end of the story.
