Since its humble beginnings in early 2006, Twitter has morphed and expanded into one of the top social media sites in the world today. In its early days, Twitter implemented the 5 C’s and other web 2.0 ideologies to change as its users changed with it, but in recent years, it has sacrificed usability for profits. This has all been at the expense of its users. That being said, as a startup like Twitter changes from a small convenience site to a social media giant, certain changes must take place for it to move forward. This is a reality of business.
