In a second article that I found from Medical Daily By Anthony Rivas called “3 Major Ways Marijuana Helps Sick People Live Normal Lives”, it talks about the certain diseases that people who use marijuana medicinally have and how the effects of it help them cope with their disease. Even though in the beginning of the article it states, “No matter how you ingest marijuana, there are possible side effects to the drug…. In this way, it’s a gamble when using marijuana. For those who know how much they’re taking and what to expect, however, may experience the opposite effect: calm, relaxation, and happiness.” (Rivas) Of course, with any drug comes side effects.
