The morning was a bright, beautiful, blue, and sunny day. Tim was getting ready for his annual camping trip with his Dad. Tim's Dad had to work, so Tim decided he would go ahead that morning to find a good campsite. Tim's father is giving Tim last minute instructions. “Tim make sure you wait to set up the tent till I get to the campsite”, his Dad said as Tim was going out the door. Tim is just happy to be out of the house and enjoying his morning hike. As Tim entered the forest he admired the beautiful scenery that he saw. It took him a good couple of hours till he got to the campsite that was lined huge hemlocks. Tim's …show more content…
The Crow just happened to be flying by at that moment. Tim said “Hi Crow, do you want to play catch with me?” “Absolutely, positively” crowed the loud Crow. “We crows are the best catchers in history, except for our rivals the the miraculous monkeys. The Fox, convinced that he could set the tent up, said “Oh, I know how to set these tents up, no problem. First, Crow you go find some sticks for a fire, and Tim go get some matches to start a fire.”

Tim, who was suspicious, asked “How will a fire raise up the tent?” “It's like this” said the Fox. “You use hot air to raise up the tent, like a hot air balloon, and make the tent rise up off the ground. In addition, you will have a nice, warm fire to sleep by in the evening.” “That's an excellent plan” said Tim. So the Fox, Crow, and Tim started a blazing fire right inside the tent, but only problem was, the tent would not rise up like a hot air balloon. Instead, the tent started on fire causing the tent to burn to ashes. “Well Fox, what a wise guy you are. Look the tent did not rise like you said it would,” The Crow said mockingly. “You cannot expect me to do everything. All we have to do is find another tent, but that's next to impossible out in the woods” said the sad
