Abortion is a very controversial topic in our society. Abortion is the ending of pregnancy before birth. Which results in the death of a fetus. Supporters of abortion do not consider an unborn child a person who must be protected. Others consider adoption as murder for killing an innocent person incapable of protecting itself. With an issue like abortion, there are many sides and arguments that makes it hard to know if it is right or wrong.

There are many sides and arguments to consider when it comes to abortion. There are two sides, the pro-choice and pro-life. Supporters of abortion are known as to be pro-choice. They believe that a woman has a right to make decisions that involve her body and well-being. Non supporters of abortion are known to be pro-life. They believe that women should not have the ability to abort an innocent life because it is considered murder. There are different arguments and sides. Some individuals who are pro-life believe that abortion could be considered in certain situations, for example rape or incest abortion. Some people who are pro-choice believe that abortion should be the last option to consider. Therefore, debates between pro-life and pro-choice groups, there is not actually a clear line between the two sides of the argument for many people.

In the early stages of pregnancy, the egg grows and develops into what is called an embryo. After three months of development, the embryo is then considered a fetus. What an abortion does is cause either the embryo or fetus to die. Abortions can occur in two forms: Either a spontaneous abortion may take place, which is the loss of a pregnancy resulting from natural causes.
