The problem that our business will solve is the shortage supply of native pigs annually nationwide. Competitors are decreasing annually but the profit is increasing annually as from the research that was done on one of our labs. The target market for this business are generally for everyone, but most especially for those who would treat other people when celebrating special days like fiestas, birthdays, Christmas, new years and many more. The consumers will not have to think twice on whether to eat the lechon for it has high cholesterol because our native pigs have lower cholesterol compared to others. Aeaea Farms offers two products: Native Pigs for lechon weighing 15 to 20 kg, and Vermi-compost sold by bulk or in a 50-kg sack. The primary product would be the native pigs, price is at ₱100 per kilo and will range from ₱1,500 to ₱2,000 per head. After sale, it can be delivered or picked up from the farm itself. The Vermi-compost is only a secondary source of income hence, it was not emphasized in this paper. It will be sold at ₱20 and is also delivered or picked up.
There were only a few competitors with the same products. There were only two identifiable direct competitors and five indirect located far from each other.
