According to TIME Magazine “New research projects across the country dedicated to solving ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, have begun to receive millions of dollars in additional funding thanks to this year’s Ice Bucket Challenge.” Challenges are a very popular thing kids do today. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is when someone is dared to pour a bucket of ice cold water on their head or donate 100 dollars to the ALS foundation.
