The bad thing about statins drugs is that they cripple the liver’s ability to make cholesterol. Studies also show that statins don’t protect you from Alzheimer’s. The most common side effects of statin drugs are is memory dysfunction because of the fats and cholesterol they take from the brain. They also reduce the LDL in the blood serum. LDL is basically what transport all fats around the body. Refusing to take statin therapy is good for your brain and instead consume plenty of dietary fat to help the brain and body.
Cholesterol makes up twenty five percent of the brain. Basically statin drugs only increase the risk of Alzheimer’s . If people stop trying to get skinny through some diets that aren’t good, we wouldn’t have to worry about which fats are important to consume.
